About Olaf

With 15 years of experience in directing, producing and editing film and animation I have built a skillset to take care of your project from the first idea to the final result. Additionally I offer a wide spread network of freelancers and production companies to scale up the production if necessary.

Teamplayer.

In my job communication is of the highest importance. Wether it is with a client, or with a team. I like to listen to my clients very carefully, discuss references and exchange ideas to get the best possible understanding of their vision. Only then I can give reliable advice on doability in terms of cost and timing and am able to integrate the team's collaboration to a result that matches the client's vision.

Filmmaker.

In 2004 I was given the chance to co-found the small filmproduction TRACKnFIELD with my wonderful colleagues. Starting with video journalistic works, event coverage, image films and music videos there have been a lot of valuable experiences to be made in editing, producing and shooting film. Since 2008 I more and more fell in love with computer generated images and animation. As a freelancer for 908 or with my direct clients I realised several animation films or projects combining live footage and motion design.

Philosopher.

I like to think - within or out of the box. In 2006 I graduated from Humbolt University of Berlin with a master in Philosophy and Sport-Science and finished with a PhD in Philosophy. In my studies I learned not to be scared of complexity but rather to enjoy breaking it down. No matter if it is a complex content to tell a story about, or a complex workflow to achieve a special visual result.
